  Breathing control
  Kicking front and back
   
Day 2 Rhythmic breathing, 10 times
  Bobbing
   
Day 3 Prone float (may add kicks)
  Back float (may add kicks)
  Prone glide (may add kicks)
   
Day 4 Prone float & recovery
  Back glide & recovery
  Beginner crawl stroke
   
Day 5 Crawl stroke 15 yards
  Survival float on back
  Survival float on front
   
Day 6 Review all skill to this point
  Level off & swim
  Jump (shallow water) & swim
   
Day 7 Jump (deep water), level & swim
  Jump, level, turn&swim on back
 
Day 8 Changing directions
  Turning over
  Reaching assists
   
Day 9 Assist non-swimmer to feet
  Practice crawl stroke
  Practice float front & back
  Practice front glide with kick
  Practice back glide with kick
   
Day 10 Reaching & extension rescues
  Release a cramp
  Final swim test
