Vilma has devoted over ten years of service at Emmanuel Health Care Center, where she has served as a Marketing Director, Admissions Coordinator, Public Relations and Community Outreach Director.

Born in Central America, Vilma now resides in La Verne, CA with her husband.

"Seniors are such an important part of our lives. They were pioneers of our future and present. They sacrificed so that we can have the freedom and the ability to become whatever we want. Seniors are so often left behind now-a-days, due to such a corporate lifestyle. They need our time and companionship and gratefulness for all they have done for the youth. I want to be able to give something back and make a few smiles in the process."
